The Engineering Division is comprised of one City Engineer, one Civil Engineer, one Senior Technician, five Engineering Technicians and numerous part-time seasonal employees.

Each year the Engineering Department designs and constructs 1  to 2 miles of new streets with sewer and water mains serving 100 to 400 new lots; 5 to 6 miles of street resurfacing and reconstruction; 1.5 miles of sewer and water reconstruction; 5 miles of sewer televising

The Engineering Department is in charge of City Construction Projects such as sewer and water main installation, street extensions, sidewalk removal and repair, asphalt and concrete pavement.  The Engineering Division does most of the design work for these projects and also hires outside firms to do some of the design.
