The City of De Pere will be launching a new website redesign, which will go live the morning of June 4, 2019.

The transition to the redesigned website will begin at 5 p.m. CST on June 3, 2019. During the transition period, some pages may not load properly. This is normal and expected.

The City of De Pere website was last designed in 2011 and deployed in 2012. Since 2012, there were no major changes other than daily content updates. The technology used on the backend of this prior website also prohibited it from proper functionality with modern mobile devices, meaning pages and navigation features were not “responsive” and adaptable to smartphones, tablets, etc.

Meanwhile, nearly 40 percent of site visitors access the City of De Pere website with an iOS or Android mobile device (site visitor data provided by Google Analytics), and those numbers continue to rise.

Beyond the new redesign, staff will be doing an extensive evaluation of website content and navigation in the coming months to further refine information and deliver the best possible user experience.

“We’re very excited to offer this new online experience, and look forward to our website continuing to evolve to better serve De Pere’s citizens and visitors,” said Steve Massey, City of De Pere IT Director.
